Full Job Description

The People Advisor will work closely with Heads of People and People Partners to provide people support across different business areas so there will be lots of opportunity to learn about different businesses facing into different opportunities and challenges. The role will provide a lot of variety in terms of both activities and stakeholders across the business areas and the wider People & Places division. We believe this will be a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop stakeholder relationship management and learn more on how the People Team supports our businesses. You'll have the opportunity to lead on key initiatives for the division, in addition to supporting the People Partners to provide an excellent partnering service. What we need from you!

  • Ambassadors of behavioural and cultural change, owning the business to build the desired culture and maximise colleague engagement, where appropriate identifying relevant HR programmes / projects / interventions
  • Strong HR policy and procedural knowledge, providing sound judgement and guidance to Partners and the Business.
  • The voice of the colleague in ensuring fairness, and engaging with business partners to provide guidance, advice and challenge to support the delivery of LBG values and behaviours
  • Leads on the use of people related data and MI to provide insight that informs people solutions and proactive interventions.
  • Supports solutions to strategically grow the business drawing on product toolkits
  • Supports the development of People solutions in response to business change
  • Anticipates future People related risks, supporting effective talent and succession management, resourcing and capability so that the business can deliver on its commitments.
  • Takes action to avoid high risk policy non-compliance
  • Raises awareness and supports the People Team and Business through the delivery of Group cyclical processes, such as Pay and GPS.
  • Acting as an interface between the business and the full suite of People Products - resourcing, talent, learning etc
