Full Job Description
We have a great opportunity for a People Analyst to join our Human Resources team. In this key role, you will work with the Team Lead, with leadership at all levels of the organisation and external stakeholders to support delivery within the People Analytics area across HM Land Registry, to aid senior decision-making that will drive both continuous improvement and behavioural change., In this role you will assist in building a strong analytical and modelling function within HR to improve its use of data to drive continuous improvement. Supported by a highly engaged senior team and wider analysis community, you will use your expertise to develop high quality management information systems and provide analytical modelling/insight in conjunction with their area, prioritising high profile work tasks that will get the best value, alongside supporting other analysis teams with their workload., This vacancy is using Success Profiles (opens in a new window), and will assess your Behaviours, Strengths, Experience and Technical skills.

+ Relevant skills, knowledge, and application of Operational Research, data science or data analysis techniques and/or the relevant knowledge, skills and qualifications to allow entry into a government analytical profession.
+ Good experience of developing (often innovative) MI and analytical/modelling insight in support of decision making , with a good understanding of analytical/modelling techniques and database storage/extraction routines (this may include: Excel and Power BI).
The Personal Statement section (in no more than 250 words) should be used to demonstrate how you meet the following essential Experience criteria:
+ The ability to prioritise work and manage projects effectively against a changing strategic background with limited resources, while managing stakeholder expectation.
In the event of a high volume of applications for this vacancy, an initial sift will be conducted on the lead essential Technical criteria:
+ Relevant skills, knowledge, and application of Operational Research, data science or data analysis techniques and/or the relevant knowledge, skills and qualifications to allow entry into a government analytical profession.

The final stage will consist of a blended interview, which will be conducted as a video interview using MS Teams. We expect interviews to take place during the week commencing the 2 December 2024.
The blended interview will assess the essential Technical and Experience criteria and Behaviours listed in the Person Specification as well as the strengths associated with the role.

Through your proven track record of presenting evidence and communicating complex analysis with impact, you support decision-making. Have experience of analytical quality assurance under time and resource pressure and are able to develop others to increase skills and team flexibility.
Where an individual taking up the responsibility will be based in Swansea Office, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable., + Communicating and Influencing
