Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Belmarsh. HMP Belmarsh is a category A Prison located in South East London, close to Plumstead and Woolwich Arsenal stations. The prison houses around 675 patients with a variety of needs include complex physical and mental health. Within this role you will be working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team in a busy pharmacy, delivering a high quality service, assisting team supervision and provide advice on medicines management. Suitable applicants should have at least 1 year experience within a hospital setting Hours Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:00 (37.5 hours per week)

  • GPhC registered Pharmacist.
  • Vocational Master's Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training
  • Excellent communication skills

    This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £60,926 per annum - depending on experience. How will we support you?

  • Ensure the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high quality prison pharmaceutical service
  • Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring a safe and modern medicines management services
