Full Job Description

You will manage delivery of a full agenda of improvement and planned maintenance works to the Council's corporate, commercial, community and leisure property assets in accordance with long term life cycle planning and the Corporate Property Maintenance and Compliance strategies.

About the team:

Working with the Asset Maintenance team you will work closely with facility & building managers & the wider Asset Maintenance team.

You will have experience in the mechanical & engineering sector within construction or property & a proven track record for the co-ordination, management & oversight of scheduled or planned projects. You will also have experience of managing substantial external contracts whilst ensuring health & safety compliance.

You will have strong general IT and technology skills with a working knowledge of MS Office systems, and good report-writing and communication skills. Experience of using digital asset management systems is desirable but not essential, full training in the use of our Asset Management software will be provided.
