Full Job Description

  • Monitor accounts to ensure consistency, focusing on key risk metrics, duration exposure, and asset allocation within established guidelines and manager targets.
  • Utilize technology and applications to facilitate allocation and portfolio construction.
  • Assess trades to confirm alignment with fund objectives, process, and guidelines.
  • Raise trades on the Investment team's behalf and resolve any compliance issues.
  • Liaison with Traders to facilitate portfolio management trading activity.
  • Assist in delivering MI to PM teams as needed
  • Contribute to market data analysis, including trend analysis and moving averages.
  • Collaborate with a global team to work across time zones.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.
  • Be subject to supervision by lead Fund Manager and / or may not act independently on some or all of the above responsibilities.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, math, economics, computer science, finance, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of macroeconomic theory and its application to investment strategies.
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets and macroeconomics.
  • Analytical mindset with a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and develop relationships internally and externally.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Basic presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office skills including, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Some practical experience using programing/data tools and quantitiative risk modeling applications. Examples inlcude Python/SQL/VBA, R and Tableau for data analysis, financial modelling and/or automation of tasks.
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Baseline knowledge of fixed income markets/sectors/product/ instruments
  • Nice to have skills
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg and other market data platforms.
  • Knowledge of Charles Rivers or other trade booking system.
