Do you have the skills, knowledge and experience to successfully lead a team in the current fast-paced and challenging GP environment, whilst also sharing our ethos of delivering excellent patient-centred care? Hellesdon Medical Practice have an exciting opportunity for a full time practice manager to join and lead our established team. The successful candidate will be replacing the current, retiring, practice manager and will be responsible for organisational and operational leadership and delivering key targets across the full range of clinical and administrative areas. We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic, committed, organised and able to manage their workload efficiently to ensure the smooth day to day running of the practice. The successful candidate will work closely with the Partners, reporting directly to them, supported by excellent clinical, administrative and reception teams.   • Project management.
  • Recruitment and personnel.
  • Managing Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF), targets ensuring a profitable practice and safe patient care.
  • Taking minutes at partner meetings.
  • Attending meetings including monthly PCN.
  • Ensuring the practice remains compliant with audit and information governance.

    We are a practice of approximately 11,000 patients, based in Hellesdon on the northern outskirts of Norwich, priding ourselves on strong patient focus with excellent access and continuity of care to our patients. We are a GP Training Practice.
  • Our practice family consists of five GP partners, two salaried GPs, one nurse practitioner, three practice nurses (including nurse manager), two HCAs, office manager, ten receptionists, two secretaries, four administrative staff, together with various Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS). We recognise our staff to be our most valuable resource and strive to ensure our teamwork in a supportive environment where they can reach their potential. In addition to our core general practice work, we are a committed member of our primary care network, working collaboratively with other practices to benefit patients in the locality.
