Practice Nurse

Our Practice Nurses have a busy working day, with a wide variety of tasks to keep the day interesting. Duties can include the following, but for full details please see the job description:

• Contraception and family planning
• Long term condition reviews
• ECG recording
• Spirometry
• Smears
• Wound care
• Injections/vaccinations
• Processing lab samples
• Childhood immunisations
• Health and wellbeing promotion
• Dopplers
• Travel vaccinations and advice
  
  We are a close knit family team which offers a happy, supportive and friendly environment to work in. Team work is at the heart of our Surgery and as such new members of staff are given full training and mentoring.
  
  The working hours will be 32/week with shifts to be Monday - Friday between the hours of 7am - 6.30pm (exact shifts to be agreed with successful candidate)
