Full Job Description

Teachers will normally be paid on the last working day of each month. If teachers join after the payroll deadline, they will be paid in the following month.

We are looking for a number of committed, enthusiastic teachers with experience of teaching EAP to join our team for the summer Pre-sessional English (PSE) Programme to teach both face-to-face and online from the University of Reading campus., A first degree or equivalent and Cambridge DELTA or equivalent; OR a postgraduate qualification with a practical teaching component (e.g. PGCE) in EAP, ELT, EFL, ELT, Applied Linguistics or equivalent; OR a postgraduate qualification (e.g. MA) in EAP, EFL, ELT, Applied Linguistics or equivalent plus Cambridge CELTA or equivalent

The ability to teach a range of levels (IELTS 4.5-7.0)

The ability to teach core EAP skills (incl. implementing a genre informed syllabus)

The ability to use a range of online platforms and tools to teach lessons, assess student work and deliver feedback
