Pricing Manager - Multi-currency & Analytics

The Global Merchant Services (GMS) Pricing team is responsible for the single largest source of American Express' revenue: Merchant Discount Revenue. The team determines the optimal discount rate pricing to encourage merchant acceptance of American Express, while striving to improve coverage and merchant satisfaction, essential to the strength of our business. The Pricing Manager is responsible for delivering pricing solutions in EMEA aimed at driving the organization's goals for profitable charge volume growth and merchant expansion. The position will partner closely with our sales and client management (CLM) teams to develop merchant acquisition and retention strategies and deliver industry-level analyses on our price points. How will you make an impact in this role? Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.

• Act as single point of contact for all Multi Currency Pricing related enquires and lead standard Multi Currency Pricing strategy globally to help drive coverage and acceptance
• Lead and deliver Multi Currency automation projects, providing pricing that is aligned with contractual expectations
• Develop sophisticated financial models to analyze various pricing scenarios on new strategies, and answer ad-hoc queries related to the proposed rate changes
• Create and deliver compelling presentations based on detailed data analysis for a variety of high-profile strategic projects to facilitate decision making by senior leaders
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business including the partner management team, servicing and technology teams to drive strategic projects and deliver goals
  
  Progressive experience in pricing or business/financial analysis, or related discipline
• Outstanding analytical skills, ability to develop financial models and deliver value-added insights from large data sets
• Strong relationship management and collaboration skills with the ability to influence others
• Experience presenting to senior stakeholders
• Strong project management skills with full ownership from analysis through to implementation
• Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to an advanced level, SAS / SQL skills essential
