The role As a Principal Digital Engineer - Digital Delivery Lead, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Your role will build on the existing team capabilities to meet the business operational objectives and assist the team strategy and development plan to ensure the team and wider business are at the forefront of digital engineering delivery. Day-to-day, you'll manage three direct reports focused on project delivery, providing core Building Information Modelling (BIM), Digital Engineering and information management services from tender to completion.

  • Leadership including line management of teams and working with key partners.
  • 3D CAD delivery and data management ensuring consistency and compliance on the programme to client requirements
  • Deliver continuous improvement activities to create efficient streamlined delivery.
  • Define, prepare and manage the adherence to: BIM Protocol, Organisation Information Requirements (OIR), Asset Information Requirements (AIR), Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
  • To define, prepare and manage the adherence to the drawing standards and CAD and BIM standards to meet relevant British Standards in line with current best practice.
  • This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.

    Essential experience of the Principal Digital Engineer - Digital Delivery Lead
  • General industry experience however nuclear or similar regulatory infrastructure industry sector would be an advantage
  • Experience in BIM implementation and information management
  • Desire for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Experience with client engagement and relationship management
  • Expertise utilising the Autodesk suite with in depth knowledge and experience of Inventor. Revit and Navisworks experience would be desirable
  • Qualifications for the Principal Digital Engineer - Digital Delivery Lead
  • Degree or equivalent qualifications in an engineering, construction or digital engineering discipline

    The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
