Full Job Description

The successful applicant will be willing to travel and have experience in representing the council at local, regional and national level within the parking industry. They will also need to have the appropriate knowledge in order to be able to advise internal and external stakeholders on parking, bus lane and moving traffic enforcement matters.

We are looking for someone with experience in working in a Parking Services environment, having knowledge of Parking Services income and expenditure budgets, attending Traffic Penalty Tribunal hearings, being able to project manage and coordinate work relating to routine parking, bus lane and moving traffic enforcement and supervise all contractors who support the council in the provision of parking services on behalf of the council., We need an experienced person with in-depth knowledge and application of relevant legislation, regulations, procedures, and guidance to assist the Team Leader in the Council's statutory duties relating to traffic enforcement and the provision of off street and on street parking matters. Someone who has excellent communication skills and is computer literate., Level HNC or above (or equivalent) in a subject relevant to the service or significant relevant service experience
