Full Job Description

Our priority is ensuring that patients always come first and remain at the heart of everything we do. We focus on high quality, safe and compassionate care, supporting our growing elderly population and developing closer links with our health, social and educational partners. Listening to patients and carers so that we understand what matters, what works well and what we need to do to improve is also very important to us.

The Co-Ordinator role is a highly diverse, demanding but rewarding role, working as part of a friendly, dynamic team. It is essential that the successful applicant has proven medical secretarial experience, the ability to type to a high standard and the desire to develop and learn new skills and competencies.

You must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.

The successful candidate will have the confidence and enthusiasm to take on the challenges of this role and experience to manage a high workload. Applicants must be organised, have the ability to work under their own initiative and be able to prioritise a competing workload.

The James Paget University Hospital is a vibrant university hospital providing the best possible care to the people of east Norfolk and north Suffolk.

Situated between two popular holiday destinations, and with a steadily increasing local population of over 230,000, the JPUH is the largest local employer in the area with over 3000 staff.
