Please note this role will be based at our Reading Plant and there is an alternative position available in our plant in West Thurrock. Product Supply Manufacturing at P&G is responsible for every aspect of product making for some of the world's best loved brands. Working as a Process Engineer in manufacturing, you will be entrusted to lead parts of the business right from the start. Manufacturing has far-reaching responsibilities which cover reliability, quality, safety of our equipment/processes and the motivation of the people working in the plant. This role is an excellent and unique opportunity to advance in a challenging career at P&G by demonstrating growing levels of technical and leadership skills. The Role Our Process Engineers identify and reduce losses through standards and system development. They support daily production line activities and/or processing areas and help to build and strengthen capability into their area, systems, and technicians. Daily work encompasses many of these areas:

  • Identifying, prioritizing, analysing, and eliminating losses and inefficiencies
  • Delivery and start-up of new equipment, initiatives, and projects
  • Collaborating with technical experts, and other functions to create the best solutions
  • Creating learning programs and coaching and training technicians
  • Creating and improving standards to enable us to achieve the performance targets for the production line

    University graduates who have recently completed a degree in one of the following Engineering fields - mechanical, electric or chemical engineering.
  • Candidates with some experience post-graduation, either in a manufacturing or an engineering environment will also be considered.
  • Evidence of passion and achievements, particularly leadership, in academic and/or non-academic activities, short work experience or internships are a plus.
  • Strong English verbal and writing skills.
