Full Job Description

The Sourcing Operations function is key in Aquanima's structure as it is the core of the business in our Company. Well negotiated operational and commercial conditions, aligned to the Client's needs, supported by well drafted and robust contracts are integral to business success. We are looking for the right individual to help us lead and coordinate business and market strategy and then convert this into execution of tender activity and negotiation. The difference you'll make:

  • Conducting market and spend analysis for the category, monitoring latest trends to recommend optimise cost positions / market innovations to the client
  • Supporting the Category Manager in the definition and execution of strategies for the different spend areas
  • Coordinating and delivering multiple tenders and negotiations for the category, drafting and issuing RFx documentation, completing offer analysis inclusive of technical and commercial scoring, negotiating contractual and commercial terms, preparing recommendations for the client
  • Supporting the client with the review and definition of RFI/P specifications, recommending best commercial approach to deliver best value and savings
  • Supporting and advise the client in supplier selection criteria, ensuring transparency of procurement process at all times
  • Managing stakeholders across the organisation
  • Documenting results and report status and progress of negotiations
  • Completing legal contracts using predefined templates. Negotiate commercial terms and liaise with Legal Department as necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance of own projects with defined Aquanima and Client's policies, processes and procedures, managing risk for the organisation at all times
  • Identifying and anticipate issues in the execution of the negotiations, propose and implement solutions, escalate as required
  • Reporting all negotiations in procurement systems, ensuring data quality at all times
  • Participating in internal company continuous improvement projects and initiatives, including internal training initiatives and supplier forums

    Experience in handling Corporate Real Estate, indirect Operations services and/or Corporate Finance services such as insolvency and debt collection, with experience in sourcing the category
  • Candidate must demonstrate goof level of understanding of category spend, cost management, strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, supplier management, online auctions
  • Experience in process improvement and / or systems implementation in the procurement space is desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills & Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact effectively with all levels in a large corporate environment
  • It would also be nice for you to have:
  • Ability to work well in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Solid organisational skills; can manage multiple & competing priorities while achieving results
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite and procurement systems such as SAP and Ariba or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Additional professional qualifications (e.g. MCIPS) and/or an MBA or MA and project management qualification is desirable
  • What else you need to know: This role is based in Milton Keynes. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
