Develop package procurement strategies that demonstrate and seek stakeholder approval for product/service procurement.
Undertake tendering activities with a balanced approach to select suppliers based on customer and Skanska objectives.
Manage a portfolio of sub-contract packages/categories to optimize business value through strategic supplier selection and relationship management.
Develop and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure timely procurement activities aligned with project schedules/category plans, supporting profitable projects and the UK Business Plan.
Draft recommendations/business cases for senior management approval of supply chain selections.
Line management to ensure direct report(s) develop, achieve their goals, and deliver successful outcomes.
Computer literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and purchasing systems.
Excellent analytical skills to drive the right decisions and outcomes.
Confident and professional approach to stakeholder engagement, holding them accountable when necessary to uphold legislative compliance and adherence to procurement policy.
Supply chain marketplace knowledge and network.
