Great opportunity to join a leading Global Services Business as a Procurement Specialist Procurement Heads is excited to announce an opportunity for a Procurement Specialist with a multi-billion-pound global services company. This is your chance to make a significant impact in a valued procurement function that drives profitability through strategic growth initiatives. As a Procurement Specialist, you will report directly to the Head of Fleet, playing a crucial role in managing tenders and supplier relationship management (SRM). You'll have the opportunity to develop a well-rounded skill set while working with a diverse range of suppliers, managing a fleet spend of approximately £50 million.,

  • Work alongside the Head of Fleet to implement effective category management strategies
  • Engage with key stakeholders to prioritise initiatives and drive procurement projects to successful completion
  • Manage strategic sourcing projects from development through negotiation and contract award
  • Oversee commercial supplier management and ensure compliance with procurement governance
  • Lead complex sourcing events and negotiations, ensuring alignment with category strategies and delivering impactful savings
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, enhancing your stakeholder management skills
  • Drive supplier performance improvements and recommend changes when necessary

    Minimum of 1 year of experience in sourcing, procurement, or contract management
  • Proficient in writing and managing compliant tenders and contracts
  • Ability to present commercial insights with confidence and authority
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills
  • CIPS qualification or equivalent would be desirable
