Full Job Description
- Business data modelling - defining & executing solutions to measure key data quality improvement metrics, solution designing our data risk and control framework in partnership with our partners, including data cataloguing, lineage & controls.
- Partner with Prime Services Analytics team and Technology to develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy that aligns with Prime business and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring that all target state tools, processes and controls are socialized effectively and are approved at or by the appropriate governance forum or level.
- Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives, including working closely with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control and Technology teams.
- Identify challenges and proactively seek to resolve or escalate risk and issues in a timely and well-articulated manner to the projects by engaging relevant stakeholders and PMs.
- Engage senior stakeholders continuously by escalating and resolving issues as they arise.
- Produce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts, tailoring to various forums and committees.
This role is heavily data driven, so the successful applicant would need to have a deep understanding and experience around data usage, the modelling of data and how its successful application can be used to drive strategy. - To be successful in this role you will need a deep knowledge of Prime and Clearing businesses front to back and a strong & proven track record in strategic product development, where delivering complex solutions are essential.
- Significant experience in Equities Transformation; scoping, developing and prioritizing plans for strategic initiatives.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of mechanisms to track and communicate performance.
- Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization and understand different perspectives and applying thought leadership from target state design through engaging stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capability.
- Experience in Prime related finance and risk/regulatory related projects analyzing large datasets using SQL and Python would be advantageous.
