This Professional Nurse Advocate (PNA) Lead role offers a unique opportunity to positively impact nursing practice and the well-being of colleagues across the organisation.   • Act as a role model and ambassador, promoting mental well-being and empowering nursing staff.
  • Inspire colleagues to embrace quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient safety, staff morale, and patient outcomes.
  • Foster a supportive environment to enhance team dynamics and create a culture of open communication.
  • Support and Supervision
  • Facilitate supervision sessions, offering a safe space for nurses to discuss challenges, seek support, and develop professionally.
  • Implement structured support systems to assist nurses in managing workload stress and sustaining their health and wellness.
  • Quality Assurance and Reporting
  • Provide regular updates to the Chief Nurse Office on the PNA role's progress, including data-driven insights into its benefits for staff and service users.
  • Develop mechanisms to evaluate the impact of PNA-led initiatives, using metrics and feedback to inform ongoing improvements.
  • Autonomous Workload Management
  • Demonstrate a high level of autonomy and self-management, balancing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Show resilience and adaptability, especially in response to evolving challenges within the healthcare workforce.
