Full Job Description

As a vital member of our team, your role involves conducting Profit Protection Store Visit Audits (PPSV) at various locations, emphasising a proactive approach to reducing stock loss through in store Post Audit Action Plan (PAAP) reviews and staff training. Your responsibilities extend to conducting investigations derived from data driven analysis and physical observations, as well as providing team training and coaching to uphold brand operational standards. Monitoring and managing compliance with retail operations team and overseeing Health & Safety Compliance are crucial components of your role.,

  • Execute store profit protection visits in all London locations, conducting two per year per site
  • Provide 1-2-1 coaching in stores working with teams to inspire them and build confidence in tackling stock loss
  • Conduct investigations working with the people and culture team, including interviews related to loss and risk, based on data mining from PP Audit officer output
  • Evaluate business operations in Mainline, Outlet, and Concession business for loopholes and performance improvements
  • Drive stock loss reduction initiatives through post-audit action plans and store process adherence
  • Contribute to creating and delivering training to support effective reduction in loss and profit
  • Liaise with local police and security organisations on theft cases, ensuring thorough investigations
  • Report any significant lapses in security and manage incident responses as necessary
  • Collaborate with the profit protection manager to influence the business' guarding provision
  • Monitor physical store security to ensure adequate protection
  • Review brand policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Collaborate with retail leadership teams, operations, logistics, people and culture, finance, and other functions to represent department objectives and enhance security controls
  • Attend district and business managers as needed meetings to communicate changes and updates to processes, providing support, education, and training to store management in theft, fraud, and risk

    Strong investigative experience in a formal or retail environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of technology-based crime prevention/detection methods
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to challenge and influence at all organisational levels
  • Exercises complete discretion, protects confidentiality, and handles sensitive information
  • Maintains professional conduct at all times, serving as a role model for the business
  • Demonstrates honesty and integrity consistently
  • Schedule must remain flexible. Will require travel all throughout London to match business needs
  • Expected 60% in-store visits required
  • Knowledge of security equipment, CCTV, Access Control
  • Familiarity with crime prevention techniques
