Full Job Description

  • Develop individuals and teams to their full potential ensuring that we have the capability and capacity to maintain commercial, procurement and risk control on the project to meet future needs.
  • Ensure that all the staff receive training appropriate to their roles and understand requirements of the Procedures and of management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial management systems.
  • Report on Projects financial position against budget and other financial targets and associated risk profile.
  • Proactively manage commercial position on projects to outperform targets.
  • Provide commercial advice and management for the management of change on the project.
  • Liaise with Skanska Legal Department on all matters associated with contract agreement and change post award.
  • Liaise with departments including legal to manage formal dispute resolution process and ensure any significant claims are managed in accordance with company procedures.
  • Implement best practice in commercial procedures to ensure the effective management of the contract.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's policies, procedures, the Skanska Code of Conduct and any issues relating to Health, Safety and the Environment.

    Experience in bidding, contractual understanding, commercial management, budgetary control in a large infrastructure project environment
  • Excellent relationship management and networking skills
