Project Manager

Business Development is a function within Operations Development in Vestas Northern & Central Europe (NCE) Offshore Service. The Offshore Service Department is responsible for carrying out all service and maintenance work for the offshore wind turbines in the Vestas portfolio., As a Project Manager within Business Development you will be responsible for ensuring operational readiness for some of our most-complex and largest projects. You will need to deliver on time, within the budget and meet high quality standards, all with the highest safety performance. This entails an overall responsibility for the project and authority of the process.

• Ensure operational readiness for wind farms across NCE region and oversee, coordinate and facilitate large complex offshore projects
• Be accountable for budgets, timelines and project plans
• Monitor progress and escalate risks and deviations in a timely manner to find mitigations to issues.
• Communicate clearly to the complete stakeholder map, and guide downwards, upwards and lateral in the organization.
• Manages relationships with key business stakeholders and ensure that contractual and operational deliverables are met on time
• Support sales teams with operational inputs and recommendations for new projects based on experience gained.
• Provide lessons learned feedback to all parts of the business to encourage continuous improvement, As a Project Manager, you will develop personally and professionally and get a broad interface and exposure to several levels in the organization. • Project management experience
• Ability to handle projects, motivate people as well as direct complex, cross-functional teams
• Skilled in verbal communication and social interaction
• Ability to work unsupervised, with little management oversight
• Customer focused, and result oriented, with good problem solving skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Experience in the Wind Industry is beneficial but not essential
