Full Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated and pro-active qualified radiographers to join our friendly team at the Calderdale and Huddersfield ISAS accredited radiology departments. We undertake a comprehensive range of imaging procedures offering excellent experience in front-line Radiography using some of the latest digital equipment.Flexibility to participate in the out of hours and weekend services is required., Brief Description of the Role:To work as part of the Imaging team in the diagnostic department, maintaining high standards of patient care and be proficient at producing good quality images. You will be required to work in all areas of the plain film service including Theatre & ED, and have experience of using CR/DR/PACS equipment. Support and training will be given to newly qualified radiographers. We encourage staff to develop within our directorate and to enable progression into specialised areas.

Summary of most important Experience/Skills/Qualifications required:BSc or DCR in Radiography.All applicants must be registered with the HCPC.To work as part of the team with good inter-personal and communication skills.Working out of hours and on call is essential.Neat, tidy and professional appearance.Computer literate.
