Full Job Description

We are looking for a Reception Teacher, who is dedicated to providing exceptional pastoral care and a first-class education. Could that be you? As our Reception Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in the education and development of some of our youngest pupils. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive team dedicated to unlocking the potential of every child. About the Position Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Preparing lesson plans and learning materials to facilitate positive pupil development, as well as assessments that can accurately determine pupil progress and ways in which you can facilitate pupil development.
  • Implementing and delivering lessons of an excellent standard to pupils in Reception.
  • Fostering a learning environment and educational structures that allow a child to flourish as a 'whole person' and not only in the academic sense.
  • Continuing to develop and update the school curriculum, enabling your lessons to always adapt to the needs of every child., Wellesley Haddon Dene is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
