Receptionist / Care Navigator

Mount Chambers has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis for 15 hours plus per week. The position will involve covering sickness and holidays so a need to be flexible with your working hours is essential.

General practice is a challenging environment that requires a calm and caring approach with the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team player who has customer service / patient experience and offers excellent communication skills.,

• Ability to work in a polite, confidential and discreet manner, respecting patients and colleagues at all times.
• Experience of working with the general public, being sensitive and empathic in distressing situations.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong IT and administration skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Previous medical or healthcare receptionist experience is desirable.
Flexibility is required, as you will sometimes need to work additional or alternative hours to cover for colleagues.,

Desirable
• Previous medical or healthcare receptionist experience is desirable., Maths and English Grade 4 (C)
  
  We are a town centre surgery who is based over two sites in Braintree. We are a training practice with our own in-house dispensary and have approximately 13,500 patients. We have a strong supportive team and we are looking for someone who will fit into our friendly reception team.
