Full Job Description

  • Oversee the organization, storage, and retrieval of company records to ensure efficient and secure access to information. Open, review, and organize a large number of documents
  • Adhere to written instructions and classify documents as directed.
  • Ensure accuracy while working independently.
  • Utilize organizational skills to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Perform quality checks to maintain document integrity.
  • Use relevant software and tools to streamline the document management process.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of records management practices to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to policies.

    Manulife Investment Management is seeking an organized individual to assist with a records management project. The successful candidate will be responsible for sorting highly confidential records, including both digital and paper documents. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or someone looking to gain experience in the HR or Compliance field., 1-2 years of experience in records management or a related field, or a recent graduate with pertinent internships or coursework.
  • Proficiency with records management software and tools, including MS Office Suite, Documentum, SharePoint, or similar systems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Trusted to handle sensitive data and information responsibly.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of industry standards and best practices in records management.
  • Experience with electronic records management systems and digital archiving.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
