Full Job Description

Community Inpatient Unit provides Rehabilitation, Re-ablement and recovery interventions for adults in North East Lincolnshire. The service will promote faster recovery from illness, prevent unnecessary acute hospital admissions and premature admissions to long-term care, support timely discharge from hospital and maximise independent living wherever possible. Multi-professional staff will collaborate with individuals to ensure they achieve their full potential in terms of their level of independence, health, and wellbeing.

Base: Cambridge Park Community Inpatient Unit

Hours: various vacancies ranging from 24 37.5 hours per week

Rota pattern: you will be required to work a rota pattern

Salary Range 2 £20,702 (under 21) - £22,370 (over 21) fixed salary point pro rata per annum

Community Inpatient unit is a bed-based facility supporting people to recover and regain their independence following a period of illness, trauma, surgery, or significant event. It supports hospital discharges, prevents admission to hospital or long-term care and promotes independent living. It is a multi-disciplinary service with Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist, Social Workers, and care staff.

A wonderful opportunity as arisen for individuals to join our team as recovery workers, both day and night hours available.

As a recovery worker you will support patients with personal and nutritional care needs, working with nurses and therapist to delivery enhanced care, support individuals to regain independence via motivational and encouragement techniques.

Ideally you will have the NVQ/QCF level 2 and/ or previous experience in the caring sector and however there is opportunity for training and completion of NVQ/QCF2 for the right individual.
