Full Job Description

To assess basic and specialist care needs of patients and implement without direct supervision. The nurse should at all times act in such a manner as to justify public trust and confidence to safeguard the interest of individual patients. Candidates would benefit from having experience in Haematology, Oncology or Acute Medicine, however, this is not essential as training and professional development is provided.

  • Acute NHS experience.
  • Administration of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (chemotherapy)
  • Intravenous Medications, blood and blood products.
  • Out of Hours Emergency Triage Telephone

    The successful candidate will be a caring, compassionate, dedicated Registered Nurse with an NMC registration, who can work well within a team whilst also able to show individual initiative, clinical competency and strive to provide excellent progressive nursing care.
