Full Job Description

Our London Cattery Team is seeking a new Rehoming and Welfare Manager. This role is responsible for the efficient and effective running of all aspects of the Cattery at our flagship site in Battersea London, with particular focus on the welfare of cats in our care alongside two other Rehoming & Welfare Managers who cover Intake and Rehoming, who will be responsible for overseeing the day to day husbandry and hygiene, and assessing of our cats. This includes the delivery of our Animal Charter, which highlights our commitment to providing the highest standards in animal welfare to the dogs and cats that pass through our centres. This role is directly responsible for leading the London Cattery team of around 40 staff members whilst line managing team leaders in order to meet our strategic aim of directly helping more dogs and cats in need through expansion, innovation, and continuous improvement. Additionally, this postholder will collaborate with other teams including Animal Partnerships, Feline Behaviour and clinic on to deliver Battersea's wider strategic aims of increasing our impact, and supporting animals outside our gates.
