Do you want to further your career in clinical research as part of a team at the forefront of discovery of ground breaking therapies for childhood and rare diseases?, An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Data Manager to join our dynamic multidisciplinary research team at the NIHR Clinical Research Facility based in Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. This cutting-edge Research facility provides a high quality, clinical environment, in which children and young people can take part in research programmes safely and effectively, according to robust and ethically approved protocols.

The post-holder will be responsible for managing trial data and the database on a day-to-day basis, supported by research managers and clinical staff from a diverse portfolio of exciting studies across the trust.

The post will focus on the data management requirements for the SIOP Renal Tumours Study Group prospective clinical study. This would be ideal for an experienced Data Manager with a background in clinical research., As a Data Manager you will ensure the high-quality capture of complex clinical data from medical records and research documentation, ensuring the data is submitted in a timely manner in line with contractual obligations.

Your role will involve communication with teams within the NIHR Clinical Research Facility and across the Trust as well as externalagencies such as the Research Delivery Network: North London, other Trusts andpharmaceutical companies. You will take the data lead on studies where you will be the point of contact for all data queries generated.

You will liaise with the research team and Chief Investigator running the trial to ensure all data management processes are carried outin an accurate and contemporaneous manner.

This post will initially focus on the role of data manager for the UK UMBRELLA study, where you will be the point of contact for all data queries generated by participating treatment centres.
