Full Job Description

We are seeking a Research Manager with qualitative research experience and an interest in the investments and pensions sector. You will join an established research and insights team, managing and delivering bespoke qualitative research projects using a variety of methodologies. While qualitative skills are essential, experience or interest in mixed methods research is a bonus. You will work on research design, fieldwork, analysis, and reporting, collaborating with colleagues and suppliers to deliver high-quality insights. This role offers the opportunity to specialise in financial research and fast-track your career in finance.

We are looking for a market researcher with experience in qualitative methods, who is organised, comfortable with project management, and familiar with writing screeners and discussion guides. You should have good attention to detail, strong communication skills, and confidence in client interactions. Experience in the UK investments and pensions industry is a bonus but not essential.

We are working with one of the UK's leading independent financial guidance companies, who are aiming to expand their research team with a new Qualitative Research Manager. This is a unique opportunity to transition into a research role within the financial sector without the necessity for specific industry experience. Since its creation in 2015, the company has experienced remarkable growth, surpassing 1 million active consumers utilising their services. Their mission is to educate as many individuals as possible about entering the investment world, using user feedback to evaluate a variety of plans across the UK.
