Full Job Description

Sage is seeking a Manager to join its growing Global Routes to Revenue ("RTR") Planning team. The RTR team is responsible for developing and managing plans to achieve regional strategic and operational objectives. Reporting into the RTR Planning Director, this role will be responsible for building detailed revenue planning models for key Business Units to drive the successful execution of Sage's group strategic objectives. This will commence with building and implementing the global Sage Intacct three year model and subsequent quarterly planning machine and documenting appropriate blueprints, before moving onto other areas of the business. A successful candidate will have excellent modelling skills and be able to build detailed, interactive tools to assist the Director RTR Planning and regional operational teams. They will be confident with the ability to engage with a wide variety of key stakeholders to thoroughly understand the end to end marketing and sales cycles and truly understand the commercial levers within each Business Unit. The candidate will also need excellent presentation and project delivery skills, as well as an ability to analyse, interpret and understand operational data in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.,

  • Building out the Intacct three year model and converting this into a quarterly planning machine.
  • Engaging the RTR leadership team (VP Planning and Performance and Director RTR Planning) and regional and group commercial teams to understand key levers behind commercial models.
  • Build out interactive tools and detailed blueprints to allow planning model to be utilised within scenario modelling and regular performance reviews
  • Transfer blueprints from detailed Intacct planning process to other key business areas and expand planning machine across the Sage revenue portfolio
  • Establish strong relationships with and become a key advisor to Sage's GTM executives

    The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with GTM executives as their trusted adviser and will have a proven record of successful delivery in high growth SaaS businesses and driving business outcomes., SaaS Experience: Proven record of successful delivery in high-growth SaaS businesses, with a focus on driving business outcomes.
  • GTM Advisory: Significant experience working with Go-To-Market (GTM) executives as a trusted advisor.
  • Revenue Planning: Experience in building and implementing detailed revenue planning models, including long term and quarterly planning cycles.
  • Modelling Skills: Advanced skills in building detailed, interactive financial models and planning tools.
  • Experience with Data analysis tools such as PowerBi would be advantageous.
  • Data Analysis: Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and understand operational data to inform decision-making.
  • Tool Development: Experience in developing interactive tools and detailed blueprints for scenario modelling and performance reviews.
  • Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate complex models and insights to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to engage with a wide range of key stakeholders, including regional and group commercial teams, to understand and influence commercial models.
  • Project Delivery: Demonstrated ability to deliver projects successfully in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Documentation: Proficiency in documenting planning processes, blueprints, and models.
  • Team Leadership: Experience in supporting, coaching, and mentoring junior team members.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and understand the end-to-end marketing and sales cycles.
  • Adaptable: Flexible and able to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
