Main Responsibilities /What you'll do:

· Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive sales plan to achieve or exceed revenue and profit targets for the UK business, with a focus on driving growth in conference and events (C&E) sales across the Sodexo Live! UK&I portfolio.

· Drive Hospitality Ticketing Sales: Oversee the UK&I hospitality ticketing sales strategy, supporting business development and cross-selling opportunities. Collaborate with the STH team to adopt best practices and integrate technology/tools to achieve profitable growth.

· Lead and Inspire the Sales Team: Motivate, manage, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering engagement and ensuring adherence to company standards and targets while driving the team to exceed objectives.

· Enhance the PV&E Proposition: Support the continuous development and growth of the Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events (PV&E) offering, ensuring alignment with evolving market needs and opportunities.

· Collaborate with Marketing: Partner with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies, driving brand awareness and ensuring effective promotion of services.

· Monitor and Optimise Performance: Regularly review sales performance, using data-driven insights to identify improvement opportunities and adjust strategies to maximise results.

· Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment: Manage multiple priorities with a high level of motivation and target-driven focus, demonstrating the ability to adapt and excel in a dynamic and competitive landscape.

· Extensive Sales Expertise: Solid direct sales experience, preferably in hotel, venue, or hospitality sectors, with a strong MICE industry network and proven commercial acumen in a target-driven environment.

· Leadership and Team Development: Proven ability to recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering engagement and implementing best practices and innovation.

· Strategic Collaboration and Influence: Skilled in aligning and influencing stakeholders, working across functions to achieve shared business objectives, and leveraging on/offline marketing to drive awareness and conversions.

· Analytical and Organisational Excellence: Highly structured and detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills, budget management expertise, and a focus on measuring and improving sales performance.

· Versatility and Communication Skills: A confident public speaker and negotiator with excellent written communication, industry knowledge, and a willingness to travel as required.
