Full Job Description

+ Deliver dynamic science lessons across various year groups, using differentiated strategies to support pupils with SEN.
+ Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback that supports both academic and emotional development.
+ Foster an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, inquiry, and positive engagement with scientific concepts.
+ Work closely with other staff members to implement tailored support for students with SEMH, ensuring their specific needs are met within the curriculum.
+ Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance both your SEN teaching skills and subject knowledge.

Are you a passionate Science Teacher with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN), ready to make a difference in the lives of pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs?
As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across a range of scientific disciplines, while adapting your approach to support students with SEMH and other additional needs. You will be part of a dedicated team, committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student can thrive academically and personally., + A qualified teacher with a degree in Science or a related field, alongside experience working with students with SEN, particularly those with SEMH.
+ A passion for teaching science and the ability to engage and inspire students facing various challenges.
+ Strong classroom management skills, with an empathetic and patient approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff.
