Full Job Description

Belong Learning, in collaboration with Teaching Personnel, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our secondary team. This full-time, temp-to-perm position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The role is available immediately, and successful candidates will support students in achieving their full potential within a nurturing and inclusive educational environment.
- Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring individual educational and emotional needs are met.
- Assist with the delivery of engaging and accessible lessons under the guidance of teaching staff.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes students' confidence and independence.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to develop and implement individual learning plans (ILPs).
- Monitor and document student progress, reporting any concerns or developments.
- Provide support during transitions and off-site activities where required.

Experience: Prior experience working with secondary-age students with SEN is essential.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education, SEN, or related fields are highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication, patience, and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.

Competitive annual salary of £23,000 - £23,500 (all year round).
