Full Job Description

  • Responsible for the accuracy of ETL (extract, transform and load) processes for Customer Insight data ingestion, transformation, cleaning and modelling, ensuring alignment with analytics functions across the wider business
  • Responsible for setting and maintaining process for data quality and integrity, through various testing, monitoring and validation techniques
  • Working with big data on our data and analytical platforms, developing complex SQL queries integrating customer data with operational and commercial datasets.
  • Generating Insight that identifies improvement opportunities in-line with business goals through root cause analysis
  • Building data products and tools that enable business teams and analytical functions to drive value, ensuring products are accessible, well documented and easy to use
  • Responsible for engagement between data consumers and data engineering teams, interpreting requirements and helping shape the business' data strategy

    Extensive experience of working as an analyst in a corporate environment
  • Proven background in owning and delivering analytical projects, structuring analysis and deliverables to ensure stakeholder requirements are met - displaying great verbal and written communication with the ability to tell a story using the data
  • Strong skills in the use of MS Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint), programming languages (SQL, R, Python, Embles, SAS) and Visualisation Tools (Power BI)
