Full Job Description

Due to recent investment in the Clinical Coding team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, we are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Coder to join our team at Mid and South Essex Foundation Trust. We can offer on-site, hybrid or remote opportunies for the right candidates.

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Clinical Coders.

Possess the National Clinical Coding Qualification (NCCQ) UK or be willing to work towards it at some point in the future.

Have experience of using ICD-10 and OPCS-4.9 classifications in an acute hospital setting

Be experienced in clinical coding for a wide range of specialties

Have extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology

Be willing to work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines
