Full Job Description

This post is for a period of 12 months to commence in November 2024 and finish in November 2025 The successful candidate will receive training in the full breadth of vascular surgery. Previous clinical fellows have secured national training numbers (NTNs) after completing 1-2 years of training in our unit. A candidate who is unable for personal reasons to undertake the duties of a whole-time post will receive equal consideration. If such a candidate is appointed the job content will be modified as appropriate in consultation with consultant colleagues and local management., The timetable will depend on the applicant's abilities, but would be for 10 sessions. A typical week can include the following duties: Monday: am - MDT. pm - ClinicTuesday: Theatre listWednesday: On call 24 hours/Emergency theatreThursday: Day offFriday: am - Ward round. pm - Clinic Vascular fellows are expected to competently assess vascular patients in outpatient clinics and discuss management plans with consultant where applicable
