Full Job Description
We have four vacancies for a Senior Clinical Lead to join our Digital Clinical Safety team, to lead our Digital Screening team, to lead our Live Services team and our Data and Analytics team. A summary of these teams will give you an idea of their remit.
- Digital Screening team - As a Senior Clinical Leader within the Digital Clinical Informatics team, you will lead a highly experienced team advising and assuring the clinical safety of NHSE developed and commissioned IT products.
- Data & Analytics -Within Data and analytics, the purpose is to drive insight for better decision making across health and care to help people live healthier longer lives. These insights will be optimised using new technology, with safe, secure, modern data architecture underpinning access to high quality data products. Supporting workstream such as the Federated Data Platform, Cohorting as a Service and Improving Utilisation of GP Data.
- Live Services Clinical Team -The Live Service Clinical Team (LSCT) support several programmes in the live environment. Specifically, they support incident management for Severity 1 & 2 Major Incidents. The team are also responsible for various aspects of onboarding and clinical assurance of systems connecting to national systems, such as the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) and the National Care Records Service (NCRS).
You will be a UK registered clinician with proven credibility and the ability to command respect from clinical and non-clinical professionals - Proven high-level experience of supporting delivery of complex change and strategy development programmes in a politically sensitive and complex environment
- Evidence of ensuring that there is a clinical safety focus throughout the life cycle of programmes and services
- Ability to clearly communicate informatics-related work, including being able to explain the clinical requirements and safety processes to non-clinical stakeholders so that they understand them and can comply with safety and assurance processes
- Demonstrable experience of clinical governance frameworks with a strategic understanding of clinical risk and clinical safety, applied through risk assessment and clinical safety methodology
- Demonstrable people and professional leadership skills that empower, support, and develop teams to achieve the high performance and enable team members to reach their full potential
- Currently registered and regulated health or social care professional with significant evidence of continued professional development
