Full Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead our product management team. The CPO will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the product strategy, ensuring alignment with our business goals and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, a proven track record of bringing innovative software products to market and preferably a background in healthcare technology. Primary Responsibilities: Product Strategy and Vision: o Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with the company's mission and goals. o Identify market opportunities and define product roadmaps to meet customer needs and business objectives. o Work alongside UK and corporate strategy teams on organic and inorganic growth opportunities. Leadership and Team Management: o Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of product managers, product owners and product designers.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Market and Customer Insights o Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback sessions to inform product development. o Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies. Product Development and Lifecycle Management: o Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, including planning, development, testing and iteration. o Ensure best in class user perception for all products and drive NPS through product and solution excellence. o Ensure products meet high standards of quality, usability, and performance. o Ensure each product is continually assessed for financial and user performance with a robust process for divestment / sunsetting when appropriate. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: o Work closely with executive leadership, sales, marketing, engineering and customer support teams to align product initiatives with business objectives. o Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels. Financial and Performance Metrics: o Define and track key product performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI). o Manage the product budget, including capital allocation and cost control o Work with key stakeholders in finance and engineering to ensure milestones defined in the capital allocation are met Regulatory and Compliance: o Ensure all products and solutions comply with healthcare industry regulations and standards, including data privacy and security requirements. o Ensure all products and solutions comply with UHG standards and processes You will be rewarded and recognised for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role, as well as providing development for other roles you may be interested in

  • Proven previous experience in product management leadership role.
  • Proven experience in developing and launching successful software products working using SAFe or equivalent agile methodologies
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the healthcare sector
