Senior Garment Technologist Womenswear

+ Managing and developing a team of 3 within the technical function.
+ Managing the quality strategy for multi-product womenswear clothing.
+ Managing cross function technical projects to maintain compliance and efficiencies.
+ Running fit meetings to drive consistency and improvement.
+ Driving innovation in product, performance, and sustainability through benchmarking and technical advances.
+ Integral part of the buying team, advising on technical and sustainable suitability of fabric, construction and fit.
+ Managing the department testing and AQL programme.
+ Monitoring returns data to spot patterns and poor performance to deliver improvements.
+ Building supplier relationships to influence quality and fit.

We have an opportunity for a Senior Womenswear Garment Technologist. We are looking for an experienced Senior Technologist with the ability to develop teams and manage cross department projects., + At least 2 years' experience as a senior technologist for a high street retail brand.
+ Management and team development experience to a formal people framework.
+ Excellent influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
+ Excellent established knowledge of pattern-cutting, grading, garment construction and production processes.
+ Basic knowledge of sustainable fabrications and certification programmes.
+ Good data management reporting skills.
+ Experience of working with offshore suppliers.
+ Organised, methodical with great attention to detail.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office.
