Senior Healthcare Support Worker - ED

The ED is a specialist area in its own right, and there is a wealth of opportunities to further your learning and skills. Including
+ Wound care including gluing, steri-strips, staples
+ Completing your venepuncture and cannulation training
+ Learning how to complete 12-lead ECGs
+ Being given the knowledge to complete limb plaster training
Our Senior Healthcare Support Workers work a rota pattern, so you MUST be able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights and weekends including Bank Holidays such as Christmas Day.
Please be advised that we are unable to offer set shifts patterns., To meet the direct and indirect care needs of patients under the delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
To meet the needs of the Trust with regards to Induction, mandatory and statutory training.
To ensure high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines.
To work as an effective member of the nursing and wider multi-professional healthcare team., Please note that where response levels are exceptional we may close the post before the specified date, therefore early application is recommended.
