Weaver Vale Housing Trust has an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career with a great company. We are looking for a driven, diligent, and friendly Senior Home Ownership Services Officer to join our Sales and Home Ownership team. What Will You Do? You will play a key role in delivering services to our growing portfolio of shared ownership customers and proactively deal with enquiries from current and future customers and other areas of the business. Ensuring a customer centric approach, you will be a key support to customers, taking ownership of the customer journey, playing a key role in coordinating with customers, teams within the Trust and third party stakeholders. You will effectively manage the Trust's shared ownership houses and flats across the varying lease types. You'll create trusting partnership relationships with other areas of the business, to provide a supportive and seamless service to our shared ownership customers, including working closely with our internal legal team and with other external parties including solicitors, managing agents and other services as required. So much more than just managing cases you will be a voice for our shared owners across the organisation in matters that will affect them. With key accountability for increasing customer satisfaction, you will challenge service delivery, contribute and support improvements to ways of working, ensuring VFM for our customers, meeting regulatory requirements, whilst meeting performance metrics along the way., Due to the nature of the role, a full current driving license and access to a car is essential. The role will also require the successful candidate to undergo a DBS check.   • Experience of working with shared ownership customers and various lease types
  • Experience of the processing and management of staircasing, resales and assignments of shared ownership homes.
  • Effective stakeholder management, both internally and externally to the organisation.
  • Ability to gather, record, understand, and analyse data, using manual and electronic systems including Microsoft packages.
  • Experience of being involved in setting service charge budgets for various schemes.
  • A current and detailed knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice in the various Home Ownership services
  • A good understanding of leases, legal documentation and how to communicate information to customers.
