Full Job Description

We are recruiting to a Senior HR Business Partner & Resourcing Lead (SHRBP) for St Bartholomew's Hospital, which is part of Barts Health NHS Trust. This role will work as part of the Site's People & Divisional Senior Team to provide pro-active, value adding, strategically aligned leadership to the divisional management team in the development and delivery of people strategies to support the business goals of the division and the wider Trust.
We are looking for a proactive and credible individual to work in partnership with senior leaders and the local teams to understand the local and organisational workforce priorities and support the delivery of sustainable system wide workforce interventions across all professional groups.
The role will be an integral part of the local site HR team and will lead on specific resourcing projects across the site.
The post holder will have experience of being a highly collaborative member in a senior team of HR & OD experts.
Please note the role will be based at the offices in 1 St Martin's Le Grand - which is part of the St Bartholomew's Hospital Site (located opposite the hospital site).
This role is fixed term / full time due to commence on 17^th March 2025 for 10 months, with the possibility of extension. This role is a hybrid role of working some of the week on site and from home, please note we would also consider a secondment arrangement and happy to discuss any specific flexible working arrangements., As a member of the People Senior management team you will to provide pro-active, value adding, strategically aligned leadership to the divisional management team in the development and delivery of people strategies to support the business goals of the division and the wider Trust.
The post holder will help shape the People and OD operating model to its best in order to achieve the Hospital's people ambitions, while ensuring robust People and OD related governance mechanisms for board assurance are implemented and sustained. The Senior HR Business Partner will galvanise a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and integration, participating on key projects internally and externally in advancing the Hospital's collaboration with other Barts Health Hospital sites, Barts Health People Services and other Healthcare providers across Central and North East London towards collaborative People priorities.
Co-design with managers and implement local people projects including workforce plans, local organisational design, organisational development and transformation, performance, development, talent management and customer service.
In delivering a professional and high-quality service to managers and staff across the Hospital, the post holder will also have responsibility for providing specialist advice on highly complex and sensitive HR and OD issues in addition to providing some professional leadership within the team.
