This highly visible, and business critical role, will act as a senior collaborator with responsibility of delivering and implementing new commercial policies and strategies, to drive organic growth within FTSE Russell, as well as being responsible for maintaining and updating existing policies, and driving transformation projects within the group. The Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy, will play a meaningful role within the FTSE Russell business, working with the Head of Commercial Strategy, FTSE Russell. This role will require day to day interaction with senior leadership of the Business, Sales, Product team and Finance, and will need to have the credibility and background to make commercially focused decisions. The Commercial Strategy function, ensures that the FTSE Russell organization is fully focused and committed to delivering solutions and outcomes that generate revenue, prioritise efficiency, and ensure that we operate appropriately within a robust regulatory environment.,

  • Partners with the Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to develop creative monetization strategies and drive revenue growth
  • Create and lead a culture of commercial excellence to ensure new pricing and packaging delivers revenue growth or operational efficiencies
  • Constantly understand our business, customers, market, and regulatory environment to ensure we are proactively delivering solutions that help the Group to grow in line with our strategic aims
  • WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Product commercialization of new B&I products
  • Re-commercialization of existing product & business lines
  • Management oversight of direct reports
  • Drive pricing and packaging recommendations through customer segmentation and return on investment analysis
  • Design and implement programs for price discovery, testing, and experimentation
  • Be responsible for operational aspects of pricing implementation, including billing requirements, discounting frameworks, and ongoing monitoring
  • Devise automated and scalable means of measuring pricing performance
  • Monitor key metrics and market intelligence to derive insights and find opportunities for evolving pricing

  • Strong collaborative abilities, to work with multiple teams with different priorities, and to distill diverse views in to making robust recommendations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with colleagues and clients both verbally and in writing
  • Strong experience in understanding pricing and packaging methodologies across both subscription and variable strategic
  • Understanding of the trends and themes impacting the financial services industry, familiarity with macroeconomic trends, particularly across Benchmarks & Indexes, market data and/or Passive Investments

    LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $156,300 - $290,500. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
