Full Job Description

As a Sustainability CSRD Implementation Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in the effective delivery of the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) programme. You will particularly focus on developing high quality disclosures, and will own the policy, actions and targets workstream. You will enable LSEG plc to better comply with the requirements of the CSRD from FY2025 onwards. This role reports into the Group Head of Sustainability. What you'll be doing: Within the LSEG CSRD programme, you will lead specific programme workstreams focused on developing CSRD disclosures and driving policy, actions and target development. You will:

  • Lead the CSRD policy, actions and targets workstream and disclosures for LSEG, coordinating relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify any actions required to support key central disclosures and drive these to completion, managing the input of relevant individuals and teams.
  • Work with the Sustainability Governance Manager to review policy, actions, and targets status, agree ambitions with key stakeholders and implement any Sustainability Policy Framework improvements as required.
  • Engage with relevant Policy owners to ensure appropriate governance over any changes.
  • Coordinate action plans and drive delivery of enhancements to central sustainability processes as required to embed CSRD requirements, working collaboratively with other members of the Group Sustainability team and beyond.
  • Liaise with the wider team involved in CSRD implementation, supporting consistency of approach by providing guidance on the articulation of disclosures and appropriate supporting evidence.
  • Input into the drafting of disclosures for FY2025.
  • Support the CSRD programme as required, over and above the key responsibility set out above depending on priorities.

    Good understanding of governance, risk, and controls
  • Experience of internal policy development
  • Strong senior stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with disclosure preparation and assurance
  • The following would be advantageous:
  • Experience of regulatory change programmes
  • Existing knowledge of CSRD and sustainability disclosure good practice
  • Curiosity about and existing sustainability knowledge
  • Experience of financial services and/or technology and/or data companies.
