Full Job Description

As a Sustainability CSRD Implementation Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in the effective delivery of the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) programme. Focusing in particular on subsidiaries and LSEG's value chain, you will drive enhanced sustainability engagement and disclosures, and enable LSEG plc to better comply with the requirements of the CSRD from FY2025 onwards. This role reports into the Group Head of Sustainability. What you'll be doing: Within the LSEG CSRD programme, lead specific programme workstreams, with a focus on subsidiary and value chain engagement:

  • Drive the CSRD value chain workstream: work with other relevant teams and individuals to improve due diligence processes, data gathering and approach as required; drive closure of any disclosure gaps.
  • Key CSRD point of contact for LSEG's key subsidiaries within scope of CSRD, responsible for providing clear direction and communication on requirements, and coordinating delivery of subsidiary-level activities.
  • Lead engagement with relevant subsidiaries, working with teams to drive alignment of processes, data and estimations to support the production of consolidated reporting, where required.
  • Track transposition of CSRD into in-scope European territories and integrate any practical implications into the programme delivery plan.
  • Present to management of subsidiaries on the status of the CSRD programme as required.
  • Input into the drafting of disclosures for FY2025, particularly related to LSEG's value chain, subsidiaries and related processes.
  • Support the CSRD programme as required, over and above the key responsibility set out above depending on priorities.

    Experience of working in a complex group structure and engaging with subsidiaries
  • Experience of supply chain management / third party risk management and third-party data collection
  • Regulatory change programmes
  • The following would be advantageous:
  • Existing knowledge of CSRD and sustainability disclosure good practice
  • Curiosity about and existing sustainability knowledge
  • Experience of financial services and/or technology and/or data companies.
