The opportunity We are increasingly working with clients on DC pensions, both within the workplace and retail space, and have ambitions to grow this further. We are working with a range of clients in this area including providers of DC products and services (such as Master Trusts, GPP providers, SIPP providers) as well as corporate sponsors and trustees. With providers of DC products and services we often work collaboratively with sister teams within EY to support providers on strategy, operating model, proposition, pricing, governance and risk (amongst other areas). This collaboration provides unique opportunities to our people and brings differentiated valuable insights and outcomes to our clients. With trustees and corporates, we support on DC strategy, governance, benefit design and procurement (amongst other areas). Your key responsibilities:

  • Win new clients and opportunities within the DC space
  • Lead and oversee strategic projects with clients
  • Lead thought leadership in relation to DC
  • Building relationships with clients, prospects and internal EY teams
  • Expert on DC pensions
  • Business development
  • Work closely with colleagues to create a positive learning culture and coach and counsel junior team members.
  • Help develop and grow our proposition in the DC market
  • Leading client meetings / projects as the most senior individual
  • Developing creative solutions to client problems

  • To qualify for the role you must have:
  • Excellent knowledge of the DC pensions market across workplace and retail
  • Excellent knowledge of DC operations
  • Ability to win new relationships
  • Proven track record in developing thought leadership in DC
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and concurrently
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Ability to lead a team, openly sharing information and expertise, demonstrate initiative and build good working relationships
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Desire to not only deliver projects but shape EY's proposition and enhance our market reputation
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Be a self-starter who is comfortable in ambiguous situations and creative in finding solutions
