Full Job Description

The Operational Excellence & Readiness team are responsible for operational change management, performance insights and network readiness across the Visa Direct Account & Wallet products. As Operational Excellence Lead, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement through:

  • Developing and ensuring adoption of data driven insights that inform decision making and support the client service management
  • Owning the ops & network change management framework
  • Driving automation across operational processes
  • Delivering control enhancement through problem management
  • Driving process excellence best practice
  • Supporting in identifying and delivering operational strategy for account and wallet payouts
  • Leading a team of skilled and ambitious individuals
  • This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

    What we're after…
  • Demonstratable ability to use communication skills and uphold a strong executive presence to forge effective relationships with senior leaders across the Visa Direct business with a calm, professional and assertive approach.
  • Must be a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to achieve results as part of an effective team, and ability to effectively prioritise and multi-task under pressing deadlines.
  • Hands-on leader who takes ownership of the detail and is adept at using that knowledge to drive strategic initiatives
  • Ability to apply analytical skills with understanding of systems and processes to make decisions involving complex business and technical solutions where little or no precedence exists.
  • Team collaboration demonstrated by desire and willingness to share knowledge with a broader team, be receptive to new ideas and willing to challenge the status quo to drive improvement to standard operational procedures.
  • Strong project management and business analysis skills, with an ability to coach others to ensure a best in class change management function - Prince2 or PMP qualification required
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management concepts - preferably completed ITILv4 qualification
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and precise fashion to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrate extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel are essential.
  • Experience of Agile development methodologies is favourable.
