Senior Manager, Privacy

We're looking for a Senior Privacy Manager to join us at our Business Centre based in Bradford. This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week working from the Mayfair Business Park. The Senior Manager, Privacy implements and manages governance processes for privacy within Liberty Blume. Liberty Blume provides outsourced Business Services to organisations within the Liberty Global Group and the external market. This is a newly created, customer focused position that will contribute to our continued expansion. What will you be doing?

• Actively engaging and advising business stakeholders on the end-to-end privacy processes, managing this through our OneTrust tool and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This would largely involve:
Privacy by Design
• Risk triaging and organizing engagement of stakeholders
• Creating (D)PIAs
Third Party Management
• Supporting with supplier on and offboarding via third party privacy risk assessments
• Liaising with key stakeholders
GDPR Inventory
• Organizing engagement of stakeholders
• Ensure proper management incl. initiation, support and review of inventory assessments
• Advising on and regularly reviewing policies and procedures related to Privacy, and documenting the related processes
• Participating in cross functional and multi-country projects
• Conducting privacy trainings and awareness campaigns to Liberty Blume employees
• Supporting in the dissemination of best practice around Privacy
• Advising and engaging in discussions with B2B customers as required
  
  Degree level education.
• Privacy certification (e.g. IAPP CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT)
• Several years relevant professional experience.
• In-depth knowledge of UK GDPR, Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive
• Solid risk and compliance assessment capabilities (experience with ISO 27k frameworks and operating SOX data controls)
• Understanding of the commercial, legal and political context in which Liberty Blume operates
• Fluency in written and spoken English and able to work on a day-to-day basis in English
• Ability to quickly understand the technology Liberty Blume's products and service and the policy issues that technology drives.
• Able to thrive in an environment with a high degree of task and role ambiguity
• Excellent ambassadorial and persuasion skills
• Ability to work in other European languages would be an advantage
• Experience with OneTrust privacy tool desired
• Project management skills involving challenging deadlines
• Comfortable working in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment
