At the ADC Witney site we manufacture and test the Freestyle Libre Continuous Glucose Monitoring sensor and Precision Blood Glucose Monitoring strip for the ADC division. The site continues to push the boundaries of manufacturing capability and has both an expanding product portfolio as well as an extensive capacity increase program.

As the lines of responsibility between the Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) domains blurs, the cyber threat surface is also shifting, and OT digital assets are now viable targets for cyber-attack. ADC are looking to continue to strengthen their cyber security resilience in the OT domain. There is now an exciting opportunity for a committed cyber security engineer to join the operations systems team to lead the cyber security program across manufacturing operations.

You will be entering a highly automated 'SMART' factory environment with extensive machine networking and 'real time' data exchange between OT and IT domains. Increasing use of IOT and cloud solutions demand greater attention to cyber security and effective 'boots on the ground' engineering is a vital part of our overall cyber-attack resilience model.

The role will focus around setting cyber security strategy for the engineering department. Working with local and Global IT to ensure joint delivery of IT\OT cyber security program at a site level. Owning and managing the overall site OT cyber security program. Collaborating with the Global IT Cyber security team to manage pen test coverage and exchange cyber security threat understanding. Working with the systems, controls and vision engineering teams to ensure they are maintaining a high standard of cyber security awareness and are adhering to divisional and local cyber security procedures. Reviewing code for cyber vulnerability. Running\facilitating backlog refinement sessions with the team for all pipelines. Facilitating sprint reviews. Working with the Systems Engineering manager to ensure delivery of the system backlog. Representing the Witney site at the DCN Ensure that the delivered software systems adhere to the required Quality System requirements.

You will be a controls\software engineer with 5 plus years experience who has a solid demonstratable understand of cyber security threat mitigation in the OT domain. You will have a good understanding of secure asset networking topologies, the use of DMZ, data diodes etc in effective mitigation strategies. You'll likely bring a background in PLC Controls and Automation, SCADA and/or MES.

Abbott offers a benefits platform that provides security to you and your family. As you'd expect from an innovative global health care company, we offer a competitive range of benefits including excellent salaries, a class-leading defined contribution pension scheme, private healthcare, life assurance, subsidised canteen and a flexible benefits scheme.
